Microstation V8i presents us with various 3D modeling tools. This workshop will revisit the main methods of creating 3D geometry and when to use the various tool sets. This will include b-spline surface modeling, smart surfaces and solids, feature modeling and mesh modeling.
We will also look at some new 3D tools added to V8i as well as some of the methods of extracting data from your 3D models. (including sheets, dynamic views and renderings)
The presentation will open the floor for discussions to help solve some of your 3D workflows.
