The next update to MicroStation XM

The idea of delivering MicroStation updates as Service Packs has been discussed The idea of delivering MicroStation updates via Service Packs has been discussed in user forums for several years. Now this idea is coming to fruition, enabled by the adoption of Microsoft Installer technology in recent releases.

MicroStation V8 XM Edition SELECT Update 1 is currently being beta tested by an invited group of users. This will be delivered as a Service Pack to be applied to existing XM installations, the release date is not fixed yet.

The feature list in this release is extensive, ranging from minor tweaks and enhancements to exciting new tools. We will be covering these features as the release date approaches.
